Art Approvals
Art approvals. One of the most important steps in the custom apparel ordering process, and final frontier. It’s super important to look over your art approval carefully when we send it out. It contains all of the key info about your custom apparel and should be pretty darn close to the actual end product. (include example of an art approval form)
Here’s the stuff you need to know:
We will send you your art approval via email before your job goes into production.
You are responsible for checking the spelling, color, size, and accuracy of the artwork as well as garment style and color.
To approve your artwork, reply to the email with “I approve.”
You have 24 hours to approve your order without potentially delaying the production of your goods.
Jobs will not be printed under any circumstances without approval, regardless of deadlines.
Order will not enter production until approved and your invoice is paid.
Apparel art approvals are for approximate placement & color only. They are not to exact scale or placement.
All artwork is final after customer approval!
And some more technical talk...
Be aware that each digital device interprets color differently.
Your design is mocked up on a size medium unless otherwise specified. Please be aware that the image may appear to vary in size when printed on smaller and larger sized garments. Garment variances such as color, shade, size, construction, etc. do occur and are outside of our control. As a result, Amano Print House is not accountable for said variances.
If we produce work that has been approved or provided and contains errors after production, then you are responsible for full production costs (setup charges, printing, and materials), as well as the cost for producing the work a second time, if you request us to do so.
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR 100% OF APPROVALS AND COPYRIGHTED, TRADEMARKED, AND LICENSED AGREEMENTS OF ARTWORK.
COLORS: We encourage you to choose from our Amano House Ink Colors. You may also select a custom, non-house color for an additional charge. Slight variance to your selected ink choice is considered acceptable for a final print. If you have not provided us with a color choice, we will use our closest Amano House Ink Color. Please be aware that computer monitors display color differently and that some variance in color is acceptable.
INK: Although plastisol ink has great longevity, factors such as ink coverage and placement, may cause the plastisol ink to crack slightly over time with wash and wear.
